Good Morning, here are the NEWS troubling our Nation lately.
Two people were feared dead with others sustaining various degrees of injuries as two rival cult groups clashed at Amadi-Ama area of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A source in the area, who identified himself simply as ThankGod, said members of the Iceland and Greenlanders groups clashed in broad daylight for supremacy.
He said: “This morning (yesterday) the two cult groups terrorising Amadi-Ama held the area hostage for hours shooting before the police came.
As they were shooting two people died. But I don’t know whether they are cult boys.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the development, adding that normalcy has since been restored in the area.
Omoni noted that no life was lost in the incident between the two cult groups.
He said: “We are aware of the unfortunate usual senseless act of war of supremacy between the Icelander and Greenlander cult groups at Amadi-Ama.
“We were alerted and we mobilised to the scene, but on getting there the bad boys fled. The police are on their trail. We have restored normalcy in the area.
“A Keke (tricycle) driver was shot in the leg and he is receiving treatment. So far, no life was lost in the incident. We have taken over the place.

I never said its a cult slogan, using it whenever there is a security challenge in the state is not nice at all whether cult clash or arm robbery. Rivers State is not the only state with security challenge, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Katsina and a host of other states have something worse but nobody on this platform have put a derogatory tag on them. You need to see the big picture, it's just so glaring that our security agencies have been overwhelmed.

As long as they are killing fellow cultists.... I have no problem with that.

In a Christendom, it is believed that men who offers themselves to Satan for material things have sold their star, glory, destiny, future, and blessings altogether.. Same way the masses do sell the country's destiny, future, and rights to the polithiefcians for crumbs..

Just like direct proportion.. Until we change our mindset, we can't redeem our country's glory and future from their hands. Change starts with us at all grassroot levels.

Lack of job gives room to unpleasant situation and attitude of human being. All the money looted through NDDC ,with what we've been reading is enough for the youths in the areas to establish their business. God of Elijah where are you ,to rescue us from the hands of this king pharaohs .

Your last sentence is everything. The change has to start from the grassroot because they are the least beneficiaries of the corrupt society we have built all these years. You can't tell the MD of a corporation not to steal $2.5b when he knows that nothing will be done to him. If we want to see a change it definitely will have to start from the citizenry and not those in authority.

That summarize that money is powerless because it bows to the strong pressure of voting power, meaning the power is in our hands but with crumbs, they can steal it from us in other actualise their true interest.. "No matter the amount they steal, even if we can't do them anything, they MUST come back to us for help." They know our grassroot classes are decayed, so they will have their way easily..
