Honda Slowly Fading Away. by pablobellins(m): 9:08pm On Jul 28, 2020
for some time now, hv noticed that i hardly see Honda cars on the road and street in my location.

6 out of 10 vehicles is toyota. The remaining could be lexux, mazda, benz, and nissan.

How is the trend in ur area?

Hmmm its hard to put words together. If you feel you are right, then you are correct. But if you doubt yourself, you are absolutely wrong.

I don't vouch for your claims, but hope you know that Hondas of 2000+ models are not suitable for regularly flooded, mud ridden, potholes ridden bad inner street roads that characterised all southsouth states. From Benin to yenogoa all inner street roads are naturally awful

Big lie, the 2013 plus Honda accord clearly beats the Camry in so many ways , and it is a hit here in Nigeria, so I totally disagree with u

Ok then! It depends on how and where you observe. Even though it is not a choice for transporters, it still remains Nigeria's most popular auto brand after Toyota, any where any day.

Funny though i agree with OP.
the competition some years back was between accord and camry, civic and corolla, city and yaris.
Today, for every accord you see, you'll see 5 or more camry.

Lets start with the basics. Babyboy and pencil light. which one do you see more?
EOD and big for nothing, which one do you see more?

OP indeed does have a point

for Ibadan
pencil and baby boy is 50/50
big daddy EOD DC can be 55/45

Honda is not fading , Toyota produces and sells more vehicles than all other brands. closely follow is Honda in sales.

God bless you for this comment sir..the best comment I've read,I'm not good in mathematics, but as poor as my maths is,I know it doesn't make much sense comparing a car brand that let's say produces and manufactures almost as twice in number to a rival brand, in every 50 Honda cars manufactured, there will be over 100 Toyota cars manufactured, yet in some part of the country Honda still give Toyota a run of its money,to me Honda is not fading away rather they are doing a great job if with their lower number of production when compared to Toyota yet they compete... And for the records in some part of the north they even beat Toyota on the street

To those two above; u re both talking of global productions.

Talk about your localty; go out today and tomorrow and do a silent survey.

When i still have my honda civic in late 2000; i can tell u then that it was honda that was reigning then; u will hardly see someone in toyata.

Aaye igba accord and co.

But now; u hv to accept the fact that its in decline on the graph and toyota is goin upward on the graph. And if it continues like this, am sorry for Honda market in my own localty(Ondo; ogun; nd lagos)

that bn said;

if u were presented an honda with a toyota variant, which are u taaking?

May be fading in your dreams... Lol

But honestly Toyota is more common no doubt,

I will always choose Honda, if you are someone who can maintain a car with the correct fluid you want regret it
