The beneficiaries of the Nigerian Government Empowerment Scheme, N- Power, have begin to express their sadness over the delay of their June and July stipend.

This reaction was carried out on one of the N- Power group on Facebook. A beneficiary of the scheme made a post about the delay of payment and demanded they be paid because they worked and that they be given permanent employment.

Below is what he wrote:
Pay us our June and July stipend and give us permanent employment or reasonable grant.
We are the pride of this nation and we deserve to be treated as law abiding citizens, and not some aliens.
Backlogs of four months stipends you owe some volunteers cannot be overrule, they worked for it and they must be paid as well.
