GREAT NIGERIA


Waking up amid the soothing security

Of ingrained ethics for glorious positivity –

And drawing in the refreshing air of change;

On display stands the reward of a won

War – having embraced the tenet of totally

Eradicating the great foes of our great land.

The willingness to firmly remain insoluble

Have finally paid off – ushering in the

Long-awaited era of overall transformation –

A permanent valley-bottom to mountain-top make-over.

All around our revived entity falls the pleasant

Dew of prosperity – on all fronts; sailing beyond

Our shores to position us with the ‘developed ones.’

It is marvelous to see the masses putting on

Various shades of lines – singing joyous lullabies;

At last savoring their due share of the National Cake.

Really, it’s been a long journey to salvation point,

A journey that began with you!
