The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 462 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 43,151. One new death was recorded along with 295 recoveries. The Federal Capital Territory topped the list.

The 462 new cases are reported from 16 states- FCT (93), Lagos (78), Plateau (64), Kaduna (54), Oyo (47), Ondo (32), Adamawa (23), Bauchi (19), Rivers (9), Ogun (9), Delta (9), Edo (7), Kano (6), Enugu (6), Nasarawa (5), Osun (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 462 cases were from 16 different states. The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of cases with 93. Lagos State followed with 78 while Plateau State had 64. 295 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 19,565 from 19,270. There was also one (1) new death. Find the breakdown below.
