Have you watched the documentary of de-radicalized terrorists?

If no, then no need of engaing with you
Yes but it still makes no sense.
Do you think de-radicalision takes just a few months or weeks as seen in Nigeria?

If your brother or someone close to you was killed by these terrorists in the battle field or as casualty of war, will you be happy about this de-radicalision, pardon and soft landing?

Stand by the truth no matter your religious, ethnic or political affiliations!

"....The Buhari regime rewards and celebrates homicidal outlaws. Its message to Nigerians is unmistakably this: if they want to be taken seriously and indulged by govt, they should be organized, vicious mass murderers."

GBAM!
If you didn't know the motivation for the likes of Nnamdi Kanu, you know now.

It does work, but only where you have a competent and sophisticated intelligence system. Sadly, Nigeria doesn't have such.

The problem is, even if this country splits into bits, we have to do something about the Boko terrorists when the war ends.

And rehabilitation has to be part of the solution. Yes, we MUST get rid of the hardcore.Yes, we must deal with Shekau and the hardened core. But we must try and rehab most of the Bokoists. Because if we don't....we would be left with two options.

1.Mass massacare....which would lead to more radicalisation and Boko part 2...which won't be fun

2.Mass incarceration....which would lead to more radicalisation....and Boko part 2.....also we have to feed the buggers. NO thanks.

The Amercians just marched into Iraq and discarded all the Saddamists. No rehab, no job offers, no training. The result....Iraq is in a state of crisis.

Now, before anyone calls me a 'Islamist terrorist symphatiser'...let me tell you about the Liberian civil war. Thousands died at the hands of hardened rebel troops. Thousands more were displaced. At the end of the war....the UN rehabilitated most of the hardened boys, and released them with a radio and some money

Was that right. NO.

But....it is the main reason why Liberia is not figting a new civil war.

One of the most vicious of the killers in the Liberia war was a mad guy by the name of General Butt Naked. Don't laugh. He killed so many people. Where is Butt-Naked now? He is a born again Christian and last I heard, a pastor.

We have to rehab the Bokoists....or we would face a new problem in the future....even if we split the country.

You are the one who is not making sense...

You could have asked who are the people supplying the terrorists the arms and ammunition and what's there for them to gain.....

Boko Haram don't just displaced people, they recruit as well which majority are forcefully..

I asked again, why are there no Muslim terrorists from other region ?

.... And has Buhari used or implemented the solutions proffered by the other ppl?
If has not made use of solutions being offered by other well meaning Nigerians, what makes u think he would take Kperogi's own, if offered?

If I may ask, how is the repentance of these terrorists measured or gauged? We all know what it is, and that a northern conspiracy. When ND people were given amnesty, they were given based on what they were fighting for. In BH's case, they want their own nation but are being given the opposite of that and money. It makes no sense.

Firstly, there is no northern conspiracy. You don't want to be a northerner or living in the north these days. Poverty in the north was higher than what we had in the south before Boko Haram and banditry problems emerged. North is far worse today, they need all the help. Only God knows how many deaths per day!

Secondly, militants were offered amnesty with pay packages. The issue of Boko Haram is different. FG is rehabilitating and de-radicalizing the repentant captured ones and those who willingly surrendered. That didn't stop the killing of unrepentant ones. The captured ones are in thousands, FG can't kill them and the cost of keeping them as prisoners forever is unimaginable! It's a dilemma

Majority of the so called Boko Haram members were forced to fight for the terrorist group or lose their lives..

There are so many documentaries about this on Aljazeera most especially de-radicalized Syria terrorists now living in Western country

Buhari in his wisdom and for the benefit of Northern political elites will want to keep the terrorists alive and in good condition. He rose to that power all because Jonathan was treating the terrorists with kids glove. Then, a lot of money was dedicated to fighting the terrorists and at the same time misappropriated. These were part of Jonathan's failure. These terrorists are kept purposely for same agenda if eventually they did not get the power in 2023. If they are all killed now, who will they use again. This is my opinion
