CBC launches ClickSAT Internet Service

CBC Netcomms Limited (a subsidiary of CBC EMEA Group) announced
the availability of ClickSAT KA band reliable, high-speed, high-quality
satellite internet service for residential and business customers in Nigeria. ClickSAT is the only KA band high throughput satellite internet service is capable of providing high-speed internet available in 100 percent of the country.

Nigerian residents and businesses in all states can now subscribe to a home and business satellite internet service with speeds up to 25Mbps,
and data-rich packages that go up to 200 Gigabytes (GB) of data per month and Unlimited plans with speed up to 10Mbps enabling them to enjoy online access and using unlimited chat and web browsing.

ClickSAT service plans in Nigeria

ClickSAT’s new residential and business internet service for
Nigeria uses bandwidth from the Avanti Communication Hylas 4 satellite to deliver satellite internet services. The service is available across the 36 states and FCT. It is simplified to fit the needs of Nigerian internet users, ClickSAT offers two categories of service plans: Data capped plans (10Gb – 200Gb) and Unlimited plans (2Mbps – 10Mbps). Each of the data plans includes download speeds of up to 25 Mbps. Besides, ClickSAT’s data plans are competitively priced compared to other satellite internet service, it is the most affordable in Nigeria and includes features such as unlimited chat and browsing, and also a free zone from 12:00 am to 6:00 am local time.

VISP a Virtual Network Operator VNO capability that allows partners to operate independently, manage their terminal population and network resources. It is a private label cloud-based SaaS platform that adds value to your current product line-up, increase store traffic or offer prepaid or post-paid broadband services at your retail prices and brand name with or without reference to ClickSAT.

The ClickSAT System is the next-generation Very Small Aperture
Terminal (VSAT) platform from Avanti Communication powered by Newtec for broadband services employing the DVB-S2X standard for highly efficient use of satellite bandwidth.
