It is a fundamental right under democracy. We are not in a military dictatorship.

Have you seen a peaceful protesters arrested in UK,Netherlands,France,South Africa or Namibia? Protestors are only arrested when they become violent.

Absolutely

Maxymilliano:
The only approved protests by the Buhari led government are protest against groups such as Amnesty International and any other groups calling for transparency and accountability.

Such approved protest don't require police permit as it enjoys tacit endorsement of the government.

The modus operandi is to heckle and attack any groups or persons that dare question the activities of the government, with active connivance of security agencies.

Choosing buhari as a president in Nigeria shows how retrogressive most citizens can be in Nigeria and they're very proud about it.

Protest against baba buhari... How dare you?

"Which is lower southerners", the height of tribalism is overwhelming. The same south - south if I suggest giving your state a face lift from scratch to something better.

Don't mind them, in Ghana ivonne Nelson and other celebrities came out in their numbers to protest against unstable electricity in their country as at then, the government of Ghana took them seriously and fix it, but for here they rather enjoy generator sound. To be a Nigerian in this 21 century is a sad thing to say.

Any soldier that died in the fight against bokoharam is a coward because that person caused his death. I have never seen a soldier dispatched to deal with unarmed civilians protesting peacefully with out causing havoc in the neighborhood except in Nigeria.

Say the truth , GEJ the clueless couldn't pay salaries, they had to resort to borrowing before our securities agencies get their pay.

GEJ economic team were a failure, that was why 95% of Nigerian voted GMB for a change from such nepotism. Since GMB has failed us again like his predecessor, we will choose another leader in 2023 using ballot box not these skirmishes called relevolutum not revolution.
He borrowed to pay salaries, what about buhari regime? What is the story about? Looting of pensioner funds by his political appointees.
Owing of salaries for who knows how long.

Even u are one of the problem of this country.
Don’t u understand dat it isn’t about the political party here but a credible Leader even tho he is umbrellad in the least prominent party.
It is time we start seeing beyond APC and PDP.

The personality called.... in this forum

I have watched this follow at the background in this forum for long, I get irritated each time I see his/her comment...Four things are involve;

1. Is either he/she has a mental disorder issue
Or
2. He/she is benefiting a little income from this government
Or
3. He/she has a generational curse transferred to him/her from his ancestors
Or
4. He/she is human without a soul and conscience.

Whichever the aboved mentioned his/her case is, I pity him/her bcus no normal human will see evil and support it.

His likes are the reason I see this country not getting better, I will kindly advice two things or else Nigerians are yet to see the worst off future.

(A) The earlier Nigerians' I mean the youths in respective of tribe, ethnicity, race and religion occupy Nigeria streets, villages, communities, towns cities and states, this country will never get better, rather grow worst.

Is not about an individual called 'Sowore is about the SOUL of this nation.
One Silent questions begging for answer is:

were are the traditional
rulers/institutions? were are the religious leaders? were the pressure groups? were are the human rights organization? Those who are suppose to rise up to the occation at this junction

Nigerians will regret if they refuse to rise up to the occation at junction, I see a conspiracy theory against the SOUL of this nation called Nigeria, no nation in the world will her citizens accept 2/3 of what is happening Nigeria without taking back their country

(B). Am in full support of "DISINTEGRATION".

This North and South is not working any longer, let each region go and govern itself.
The earlier this is actualise the better for all. Some of us don't know that the decisions and policies of government affect every aspect of ur day to day activities.

Am from South-south of this country, am fully in surport Nnamdi KANU agitations, it will be better for we all.

Lastly, all that we keep seeing and hearing are all symptoms of a failed state. NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE'
You don't force a woman to stay in marriage she not interested inn or else you are inviting anarchy.

This Union/marriage between North and South cannot hold water or continue any longer, let's part ways in peace.

Before I forget, those of you who thinks APC and PDD will change things for the better, please kindly pocket that dream of urs, both party's lack ideology and the will to govern

Right from the first page, noone engages in civil conversations. That's why there's no common ground. Too much discord, showing so much even here on nairaland. @seun_osewa, your website is breeding hate and propaganda between Nigerians of different tribes! Sad that you have the best news, but the comments are always enmity inciting and not thought provoking.

Damn!...how can you be this daft?... I mean take a look at what you wrote and then compare GEJ's economic team then to Buhari's own now....at the time of GEJ. Nigeria was third fastest growing economy in the world according to World bank, It took Bihari over six months to appoint his angels who will be ministers yet their only achievement is launching Nigeria to the No 1 spot of world headquarters of poverty... Please be objective in your reasoning, drop sentiments for once and see things as they are...yes there were corruption during GEJ era but what we are seeing today makes Abacha and GEJ era a saint compared to the daily looting in this present administration.
Jah bless you

Buhari case is like the proverbial Yoruba adage that says : A killer can't bear the sword to pass over his head. He thinks its easy to be criticized just as he and his emissary did during Jonathan regime. Now he can't bear the painsof criticism, he's using army to victimized innocent protesters. Nigerians are so docile, cos the scam that happens in nddc Alone is enogh to topple any government. The rascality nd mediocrity by this govt can't happn in d middle east or any European country. Nonsense

Walahi you are correct. If it is in the middle east one guy with a suicide vest would just give the president a great big hug to the afterlife.

This reflects the failure of the opposition more. Buhari was opposition and did all this. Today's opposition has left the fight for ordinary Nigerians and lays in wait to reap the benefits.

People are already shouting PDP. Must it be PDP? PDP as a party failed in governance and as an opposition.
