When you visit first class kings, there are certain rules put in place. Go to the palace of the Oba of Lagos if you are a Lagosian and check for yourself. Go to Ife and ask, etc.

Among a list of protocals are not wearing a cap, not whistling, not holding a walking stick if you are not a titled person.
