Now that the Impeached Deputy Speaker has withdraw the 2 cases... I see a new house of Assembly been inaugurated and the 5 minorities been suspended and that will give room for impeachment of the incumbent.. Obaseki and his deputy will approach the court to argue the upturn of their impeachment by then the election would be over with PDP not having candidates... Whoever giving the APC the tricks is a master in political chess.

Analysis totally different from reality on the ground in Edo, they are unable to remove Ondo Deputy Governor, so what makes you think it will be easy to remove a sitting governor, you want to burn down the state? grin

Numbers my guy 2/3 majority.. Agboola Ondo deputy has that, and Oshiomhole now have that... Obaseki and Akeredolu don't have 2/3 majority because they are not grassroot politician

impeaching a sitting governor or the deputy governor will take at least a month


involves so many processes ....this planned impeachment will fail just like dat of Agboola ( deputy governor of ondo state )

Obaseki is too diplomatic with this people. how much time does ty constitution allow for time to be away for legislative duty? I wish I can be soft like him. anyway sha he's the governor, he must look at all possible options.

nos is all you need, in ondo akeredolu did not have the nos in edo it is 17vs7

Impeachment take so many processes.
Whatever Obaseki will remain as the governor and he will be re elected for the second term.
Edo people wants Obaseki and have resolved to vote for him again.

The guy brought Ideye over with the promise of becoming governor for 3 months, once current speaker is impeached, ideye becomes speaker, then move ahead to impeach gov and Dgov.,ideye becomes governor.
