President Muhammadu Buhari is bent on making south east , south south and south west the hubs of cotton production in Nigeria. These three geopolitcal zones were not centers of cotton planting in the past compared to the Northern part of Nigeria where the cash crop had thrived and a crop used in the development of the country. Through the National Cotton Association of Nigeria and the CBN Anchor borrowers programme, the Southern part of the country has been integrated into the scheme to boost agriculture and economic diversification. Already thousands of people in all the local governments in this part of the country have been mobilized with fund, land and materials to start up. This gesture exhibits the committment by PMB to intergrate every part of the country into his administration and to make them independent from oil.

Over 300,000 cotton farmers have been mobilized by NACOTAN for the 2020 cotton farming season. They v also been arranged into clusters and given large hectare of land. In this regard, it means the 2020 cotton harvest will be bountiful.
NACOTAN / CBN provide land, tractor, cotton seeds, fertilizer, chemical and extension agents services for the farmers. Farmers are only expected to farm, harvest produce and supply to the ginnery for payment.
NACOTAN is able to make you a big time cotton farmers and you will make huge money from it.

later they will say buhari is not working whereas he equipping them to be big time cotton farmers. The south will be the one to enjoy this opportunity because they will adopt mechanize farming compare to the north that has been into subsistence farming.
#Revolution Now# boys should meet those responsible for something to do and stop deceiving themselves.

about 33 states are into this project. south west and south south states planted last season. this season is having south east states into the project. thousands of people v keyed into the project already and more will be included. NACOTAN and CBN are the poineers and supervisors in the project.

There s need for everyone to key into this project because of the cash that will be made by farmers. Surprisingly, Nigeria's fashion taste is tied to cotton production. South Africa generate more income from fashion than Nigeria due to her cotton and textile industry,but Nigeria imports about 60% of her clothes which means lots of waste and external expansion of China, Indonesia etc economic base.
With bountiful production, the entire value chain will be affected such as huge employment,large market base etc.

Why?
Because, like all jihadists, Buhari sees some people as slaves, and the violent minority as their rightful rulers and owners.
