Depending on the stage of pregnancy that frequent urination happens, it can be normal or abnormal.

During the early stage of pregnancy, you may find it exciting frequenting the bathroom, as it might be your first sign of pregnancy. But when you experience this in late pregnancy, it becomes disgusting and disturbing to wake from your sleep now and then to rush down to the bathroom.

Here, we have compiled everything about frequent urination that pregnant women need to know. Ranging from its causes to when to feel concerned and how to deal with it.

What Is Frequent Urination In Pregnancy?

You have frequent urination when the number of times you pee in a day during pregnancy exceeds your regular urination pattern before pregnancy. What is considered frequent urination is different in individuals. While some people may have only four urination a day, some may have up to ten, so we don’t have fixed regular urination.

The severity of frequent urination also differs from woman to woman. While some women only have slight changes in their urination pattern, others find themselves getting up every 30 minutes of the day and night to pee.

If you notice you are peeing more than you should, it is ideal to discuss it with your doctor when you go for your next prenatal appointment.
