they where not because they got back to the senate as soon as possible. We even watched some on TV scaling the fence to join the proceedings that same day.. But our brothers in edo left and went to Abuja for more than a year hoping that because oshiomole was the national chairman, he would perform magic.. But he didn't... They never came to the floor of the house.. They went to an unknown path to an unknown destination.

The proclamation itself is illegal because it was a day earlier than announced with only10 legislators out of 24 invited for it and a speaker elected by 9 out of the 24

There is no illegality greater than what obaseki did. No court can declare the seats of the 14 vacant because they are yet to be sworn in. The law gave a number of days a legislator must seat but the law ONLY BECOMES ACTIVE AFTER TAKING THE OATH

Up till now the court hasn't ruled on it but you can be sure when it rules that proclamation will be declared illegal
