The APC got it wrong, they should have also lured like another 5 memebers from Gov Obaseki's camp before preceding legally for the impeachment because 14 members are still fighting in court after their seat was declared vacants...The best way to have made it stand is for Oshobaba to have lure like more 5 memebers from the Obaseki , who were sworn in , and on that note the impeachment would stand...
are you new in Nigeria?
so you don't know 5 from the inaugurated lawmakers joined the 14 lawmakers yesterday to elect edoror the new speaker

Malami won't send security agents to take over Southern Kaduna where his tribal Fulani militia is carrying out ethnic cleansing and genocide in 2020, Edo political squabbles is more important than the lives of Southern Kaduna people.

You are not a fair guy, Oshiomole under APC pulled down the roof of the Edo state assembly in 2014.
Obaseki refused to inaugurate the house properly under APC as governor.
There is no political ideology, APC and PDP are just vehicles to win elections in Nigeria. Shikena!

When Oshiomole did that in 2014 did you clap for him? if not, why are you supporting Obaseki doing what you didn't approve in 2014?

I hate hypocrisy.

Obaseki didnt refuse, they absconded because they could not get the speakership and no longer had the 2/3rd required.. pls get your facts right, Obaseki has no right to refuse inauguration, If he did, why could he not stop this despite without a Clark?

the constitution says that when an elected officer does not resume office within three months of been elected, the seat would be declared vacant by the speaker of the house and in another 90 days, inec should conduct fresh elections.. They are lucky that covid came. New elections would have been Don in their constituencies.. Please download a copy of the constitution on playstore.. Its will help your ignorance

You this ugly dunce with your cheeks like a pig's buttocks, how can you refuse to inaugurate someone and turn around to declare his seat vacant? As stupid as Obaseki is he didn't even do that. It is one idiot now talking nonsense.

How? Which seat are you declaring vacant? The one that is yet to be inaugurated or what?

You can only declare a seat vacant when the person becomes a member of the House by taking oath of office? How can you declare the seat of a member elect who is yet to be inaugurated vacant? It is only when the member elect takes oath of office that he assumes membership of the house and a such has a seat which can be declared vacant.
I thought as much too.

Most of these BLIND supporters of the APC are extremely daft!

The 14 Lawmakers seats were declared vacant 180 days after inauguration of the house. Despite multiple appeals made to them, they refused to get inaugurated.

They subsequently went to court to challenge the vacation of their seats; the case is still in court.

Seeing the writing on the wall of no hope for their candidate and oshiothief in the forthcoming elections, they've decided to put up this charade.

I guess this is the so-called federal might they'd be banking on.

Clowns!

Which governor?

Do you know that failure to inaugurate the 14 House members is in itself an impeachable offence?

A governor that doesn't want to see 14 elected legislators just for fear of impeachment.

Buhari never shut the National Assembly bcoz Saraki and Dogara were against him.

Obaseki cannot handle opposition. We know it's Shaibu that is pushing him bcoz he has a path with him to take over from him in 2024.

I am presently in Edo north ... There is nothing like FG, PMB has never been involve in any state election in Nigeria , we have seen many of his incumbent Govs lose elections , some people are just using the IG, illegally to rig election in the name of Baba Buhari... Good that Gov Obaseki went to the Edo house yesterday to confront them , if not they would have claimed that his PMB that sent those police ...same thing they did in Rivers , Kogi , Osun, Kano... They did it of recent before Gov Wke went to rescue the former MD of NDDC.

you prove to be sensible but senseless .was it the governor that make them law makers or people that voted them in? Were the law makers called back with process by their people to make their seat vacant? Is it the responsibility of a governor or college law makers to make other law makers not more valid as law makers anymore ? If you can't answer those questions properly .your sense need proper examinations .

You mind them.

APCSHIT can't win Edo elections that's why they are jumping here and there.

I'm happy because Majority of Edo people are ready to vote and defend their votes.

Fg might or osho might can't do anything.I'm ashamed of that irrua man cos apc hasn't done anything for esan sef it was this obaseki that did some work for esan and he thinks people are blind.
