A petrol tanker accident just occurred at Mile two area in Lagos state.

An unidentified woman died in the accident.

The tanker which was loaded with 55,000 litres of petrol was enroute a delivery when it ran into a deep pot hole thereby losing control of the vehicle.

It then fell to the road and in the event crushed the woman.

The accident was also confirmed by the spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Nosa Okunbor.

He said, “LASEMA Response Team is at Mile 2, inward the Nigerian Army Signal Barracks in recovery operation of a fully-loaded Oil Tanker conveying 55,000 litres of petrol involved in a lone accident which killed a female adult,”.
