NPOWER: Important News For The Exiting Batch A And B Beneficiaries 9/8/2020 by LastNL: 1:16pm On Aug 09, 2020
The existing lack of information that the outgoing NPower beneficiaries nationwide are faced with is now creating issues across the states of the Federation. Recall that when in late June 2020, the Federal Government through the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development announced that it is beginning the intake of new applicants for the Batch C edition of the program, it also announced that it will be letting go of the previous beneficiaries of the Batch A and B of the program.

However, the non payment of the Batch A and B beneficiaries, the alleged fake thank you march to the President by this same group and the latest rumor making rounds and insinuating that the Batch A and Batch B beneficiaries should update their information on the NPower portal has caused a lot of people to begin asking questions begging or answers.

The AkwaIbom state beneficiaries are not left out as they approached the state Government to come to their rescue in questioning appropriate authorities responsible for the Npower program so that they could obtain the truth. In response, the State Government immediate swung into action the request of it's people by writing to the Focal Person in charge of the NPower programme in AkwaIbom State.

The letter captioned: "REQUEST OF INFORMATION ON THE EXITING NPOWER BENEFICIARIES" sought among other things to know the way forward of the Batch A and B NPower Beneficiaries and what should be the next line of action of the beneficiaries. In response, the state's Focal person responded, setting the records straight and informing the state beneficiaries on behalf of the Federal Government.

It is worthy of note that the contents of this letter is not only meant for AkwaI bomites but for all Nigerians as the State's focal person was speaking for the Federal Government in general and the ministry of of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in particular.

In the light of this truth, all Nigerians and beneficiaries of the Batch A and Batch B edition of the Npower programme should please note that this letter is a saving grace which will bring an end to the mysteries and confusions surrounding the Batch A and B NPower beneficiaries.

The letter as written by Dr Godwin Akpan, the Akwa Ibom State Focal Person in charge of NPower in the state which is in response to the first letter of inquiry written to him by the Akwa Ibom State Government reads as follows:
