When planning a church crusade, one of the most important things to think about is the theme of that crusade. Now unlike a circular conference or meeting where organizers could easily pick a nice theme, the church is a little different. Rather than trying to be catchy with any crusade theme, it is supposed to be given with God’s own directives and approval. Theme are not just randomly selected by man’s wisdom. Days are supposed to be spent fasting and praying for a revelation of what should be used as the theme for upcoming crusades. Sadly, it is no longer the case today. Because we want our auditorium to be filled to it’s capacity, we have to get the right words to use. The target is usually on the audience. Their common problems shared are being used as a bait to prepare themes of crusades. Common needs/problems are being used as key words for crusade theme. Words like money, witches and wizards, defeating the devil, overnight wealth, travelling oversees and so on. This has given rise to some really hilarious themes for crusades which has made Christianity seem like a joke to many. Here are some hilarious theme of crusades in Nigeria; 1. I am not a Christmas goat. 2. Aunty wetin I do you? 3. I will not leave Lagos empty handed. 4. Kill them before they kill you. 5. Who tie the goat? 6. This beautiful sister must marry. 7. 3 days of forceful change; Buhari shall not return. 8. Wetin I do you, na you they do me? You go die o- abi you want craze? 9. Kill the mosquito and the Malaria. 10. Give me a spouse or I die. 11. Uncle wetin I do you? 12. All the hot girls in Lagos attend Dr fireman’s church. 13. Oh God, Na like this we go they dey? 14. Emergency wedding; let me marry or you die. 15. My father my father, release my money. 16. Give my enemies dry breast oh God. 17. Bet9ja must favor my family season 2. 18. Who is monitoring my life? Leave me and let me drive my car. 19. I don tire for this NONESENSE. 20. My garri don-done; this year is our year. The list goes on and on. Whenever I see themes like the above on billboards, I feel sorry for “Christians” who run to such places. If you are a good Christian who knows their God whome they serve, you will go to such places. If you do, then It is either you don’t have the spirit to discern or you’re just blind to the times that we are in. The end times. I also wonder if these themes are really products of prayers for heavenly Revelations. I guess they are just another sets of catchy phrases to attracts people into a bounty harvest (offerings). These things keeps making Christianity seem like a joke to many. People who have little or no strong backgrounds are easily swayed and made to believe it’s a business avenue. Only God would help us. 1 Like 1 Share

Check the venues/locations of such shiitty nonsense and you'd understand the difference between the poor and the rich. Poverty is proportionally linked to retardedness. |

Churches are businesses and these businesses need to cater to the needs and taste of their customers in order to keep the doors open and the money coming in. So what do you expect of them? @OP 2 Likes 1 Share

Peter, the apostle, warned people about ALL MOGs (False Prophets and Teachers), from about 2000 years ago. What peter said is indeed what we see happening here and now. Because of the AntiChrists also called MOGs, the world does not view Jesus Christ in a good light at all. You simply mention that you believe in the God of the Bible, and almost immediately you see the detest in their looks... nothing to do with persecution at all. No, they have become wary of those who claim to be Christians. The world is tired of the lies and deceit of MOGs - the hypocrisy that is claimed and justified in the name of God. These MOGs are the Antichrists as they have set themselves up as Masters over Jesus Christ's flock, pretending to be Teachers in His place. Their doctrines and traditions are twisted representations of the teachings of Jesus Christ, and in many cases many are deceived and led away from the Truth of Jesus Christ as a result. They sit themselves in the place of God in the minds of His own sheep and they steal, kill and destroy, for their own pleasure and kingdoms, that which God has planned for those who are His. And they do all of this in the name of God. MOGs are the false prophets that Jesus Christ warned His followers to beware of. These are the antichrists that the apostles spoke of even during their days.
