Based on past experiences regarding religious crisis in northern Nigeria; if the accussed man was a non-muslim, beyound damaging the guy's family house; a full blown religious crisis would have happened. It is high time FG scraps shariah law usage in some northern states utilizing it in order to curb religious extremism. I hope the currently accussed man is rescued from this current travail and safeguarded by the security agencies because i saw on twitter series of tweets posted by some people saying "even if the man gets freed by the court that he won't still escape death" 1 Like |
