The Pan African Bank, Ecobank has unveiled its branded card-less Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).
This is done through the bank’s Xpress Cash which enables users to withdraw cash from ATMs using only a mobile phone without the physical card.
This process is simple, convenient, fast, seamless and above all very secured and it is driven by the use of the bank’s USSD code *326# or mobile app, Ecobank Mobile.
An e-token will be sent to customers mobile phone which would be used on the ATM nationwide and one good thing about this product is both customers and non customers including those without a bank account can receive the e-token and make withdrawal at any Ecobank’s ATMs nationwide.
According to the Nations Newspapers, the Head, Consumer Banking , Olukorede Demola-Adeniyi said “Digital payments are fast evolving. Customers want seamless experience across channels. We are committed to providing suitable options for our customers. Forgetting your card at home should not be a showstopper when you need cash.”
