..It seems sometimes that what matters the most in our world today is relegated to the background. It's the devil's trick. He loves to keep people in the dark. He loves 'deception' and enjoys when people are kept in ignorance. A whoremonger is anyone who has sex outside of marriage. Society is perverse. The 'it's nothing' and 'everybody is doing it' cliche rules the world. Making one feel one can get away with sexual rascality. But No..it's not and should not be a culture. Remember what our 'elders' told us about determination and discipline. Many of us understand it when we talk about 'mundane' goals. But we should talk more about 'godly' goals. Godly goals of keeping oneself pure till marriage. The goal of 'disciplining' one's sexuality till marriage. We don't mind disciplining ourselves when it comes to our academic or other pursuits. We burn the midnight candle to study for exams. But do we engage the same for our 'godly' goals..some don't even have 'spiritual' or 'godly' goals.
Yes..everything seems dysfunctional. But..we are still responsible for what Life makes of Us. Whether we become whoremonger, murderer or Idolater..we will be Judged for our deeds.

Have 'godly' goals today. Strive to achieve your godly goals. Then..just like they are rewards when we discipline ourselves to achieve our supposedly 'mundane' goals..there are benefits when we achieve our 'spiritual' goals.
