Conditions and Work Hours:
Because of COVID-19, all teaching is currently performed remotely; however, once the situation improves, teaching will resume in both in-person and online formats. As such, candidates located in Lagos area are highly preferred. The amount of work will vary from week-to-week as needed, but this position has the ability to eventually become full-time as employee demonstrates excellence in their work. Initially, expect the position to range from 5-20 hours per week. However, hours are fairly flexible. You will need availability on weekday evenings and weekends.

Education and Skills:
Notably, an official teaching certificate is not required, though such experience is considered and valued. A Bachelor's degree must be completed.

The following attributes are highly desired:

- Ability to teach all middle and high school math courses, up to and including calculus
- Ability to teach all sections on the ACT and SAT, as demonstrated by significant tutoring experience and/or a 34+ on the ACT or a 1500+ on the SAT.
- Ability to cultivate close connections with students and their families.
- Strong understanding of how to use programs like Zoom /Skype to provide education.
- A "knack" for explaining the same concept in multiple ways.
- Strong adherence to mastery-based learning.

- Ability to teach GRE/GMAT, as demonstrated by significant tutoring experience or 95th percentile or higher scores on the tests
- Ability to teach middle and high school science courses

Salary:
Pay is commensurate with experience and with the difficulty of subject matter.
