The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 453 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 47,743. Zero deaths and 334 recoveries were recorded. Lagos State topped the list. The 453 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (113), FCT (72), Plateau (59), Enugu (55), Kaduna (38), Ondo (32), Osun (26), Ebonyi (20), Ogun (9), Delta (  , Borno (7), Akwa Ibom (6), Oyo (5), Bauchi (1), Kano (1) and Ekiti (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 453 cases were from 16 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 113. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 72 cases while Plateau State had 59 Cases. 334 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 33,943 from 33,609. No new death was recorded.
