What are the different types of ACT tests? In addition to the four different sections mentioned above, the test also includes a practice portion where students are given essay questions. Students are usually given three minutes to compose and present an essay answering the question. At the end of the essay, students will receive a point based on how well they answered their essay questions. Students can either receive a pass or fail if they answer the questions correctly. If a student receives a pass, the student will be able to pass the exam and move onto the next exam in the series. Who is taking the multiple choice section? Since it is considered a timed exam, students who choose to take it early often choose to take a time-passing format. However, if you are having trouble getting your schedule to accommodate a time-passing format, students can choose to take it at the same time as a written test. The written section is a good way to learn about the material at a slower pace.

So how many questions does the multiple choice section have? The average multiple choice section has around 300 multiple-choice questions. If students are taking the test to earn high school credit, there will likely be an essay answer question as well. Although this is not typical to the written portion of the exam, it will still be required for passing the exam.

So, when is my next ACT exam and how many times can I take the act? Once you have received your ACT score, you will have two months from the date of testing to submit it as proof of passing. You will need to submit your test scores in person to your state's ACT office. If you live out of state, you will need to send in your test scores by mail. Students living out of state are allowed to take their ACT tests online. Students should remember to keep track of their scores because every state has different requirements for submitting your scores and receiving your ACT scores in order to participate in the state's ACT program.

ACT scores from students take longer to process than those from non-ACT students. However, once you have passed the state ACT examination and received your ACT scores, you can move forward with your life as a more confident student.
