The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 325 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 48,770. One new death was recorded along with 292 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 325 new cases are reported from 20 states- Lagos (87), FCT (49), Gombe (28), Ebonyi (20), Plateau (19), Kwara (18), Enugu (17), Imo (12), Rivers (12), Kaduna (11), Ogun (10), Edo (9), Oyo (9), Ondo (, Osun (, Ekiti (4), Borno (1), Kano (1), Bauchi (1) and Nasarawa (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 325 cases were from 20 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 87. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 49 cases while Gombe State had 28 Cases. 292 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 36,290 from 35,998. One new death was recorded.
