The Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq, speaking through her representative, the Director of Disaster Management, Dr. Dorothy Nwodo, said the Ministry was established on 21st August 2019, by Mr. President and one of the objectives is to rejig the National Social Investment Programme, improve on the processes and methodologies to make more impact on the citizens.
