Mundo Deportivo a Spanish newspaper has a lead on former Barcelona player Ronald Koeman's return to the Nou Camp, saying that the details of his contract are being finalised following negotiations with the Dutch Football Association.

Another newspaper, Sport's front page leads on Setien's sacking following that humiliating 8-2 defeat in the Champions League quarter-final on Friday night.

They say that Koeman and the former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino are the two favourites for the manager's job.

But intriguingly, Sport also report a potential return for Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain during the coming weeks.

Meanwhile Pep Guardiola's agent says the Manchester City boss has no plans to leave the Etihad, amid some suggestions he may return to Barcelona.

City's latest Champions League exit, their third at the quarter final stage in as many seasons, has prompted some questions over Guardiola's future.


With Barcelona sacking Quique Setien after their humiliating 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, there have been some suggestions they may try to tempt Guardiola back to the Nou Camp to rebuild the club.

However, Guardiola has always insisted he will honour his contract at City, which currently runs until the end of the 2020/21 season, even before the club's Champions League ban was overturned.

Though his agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, has offered a strong hint that Guardiola sees his near future at City, saying any return to Barcelona is 'currently impossible.'
