This is outrageous. Amaechi is not being straight “We have noticed from documents available to us that commercial contracts process signed by Federal Ministry of Transport alone within this is over $33 billion without any clear cut financing arrangements. Most of these commercial contracts agreements didn’t also have local content clauses and we’re witnessed by none properly designated and authorised officials. |

Jona borrowed $800M, So to improve, this govt agreed to double the figure. Ammmmaaaaazzzziiiiinnnnggggggg "But the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi said there was such contract existing in the Ministry as the only contract was the $1.6 billion loan for the Lagos/Ibadan rail project signed by the Buhari government and the about $800 million dollars loan signed by the Jonathan government." |

Chinese government currently taking over some properties in Zambia due to heavy loans and inability of satisfying clauses in loan agreement, Nigeria should prepare for harmattan day because China are not stupid, despite bringing their companies and equipment's to execute our so called loans infrastructures. |

When people were running up and down for this government to be reelected last year, 2019, wisdom and knowledge didn't show to them that this government is unelectable. Nigerians are getting what they hunger and crave for. This is the worst government this nation has ever seen. 1 Like |

Now this is a more valid, reasonable argument than saying the country was sold. Now Rotimi should address these issues and explain why he failed to follow due process. 1 Like |

Celepope: Why pretend as if you were not in the country when the Senate President brow beat all his colleagues into saying aye when it was clear quite a number disapproved. Were you not here when the Senate President 'vowed' to approve any paper that came to the Upper House from the Executive tagged 'Economic Development' then asking questions later. Were you not here when he threw shades at his predecessor SP Bukoka Saraki as being the architect of Mr. President's lack of impetus his first term. Were you not in Nigeria when the APC media onslaught threatened anyone who opposed wanton approvals and ridiculous rubber stamping as an 'economic saboteur'. What I and other well meaning citizens find absolutely irritating in all these insinuations by folks like you is that we were damned in stating our reservations and are now damned for not doing anything to oppose these treacherous folks in goverment hell bent in ruining this country. It is not fair and we do not deserve to suffer for what we warned about day in day out. Like it or not, hindsight or not. In just two years Bukola Saraki has proven to be a far, far better Senate President than the absolute failure we have there right now who cannot discern between his duties to Nigeria and the institution he heads and his loyalty to one single individual in the Presidency. He has forgotten that he is called a President. A very weighty title the failure of which aptly describes the mess we are in. A Senate President who doesn't recognise his status of and the responsibility to the people it connotes is useless to democracy. 2 Likes |
