The presidential candidate Victor Font wants to appoint Xavi as Barca's new manager if he wins the election.

Even if Koeman succeeds next season, he will not be the team's head coach in 2021/22, he notes.

 "Even if Koeman had a great season with Barca, I wouldn't change my mind. If I become president, Koeman will not be the manager in 2021/22," presidential candidate Victor Font has told El Larguero. 

Just to remind, part of Victor Font's presidential program is to make Xavi Hernandez the new Barcelona manager.

Recently, it has also been noted that Font would like to see Garcia Pimienta (the Barcelona B manager) as an interim coach until Xavi took over in 2021.

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman is expected to be announced as the new Barca manager in the coming hours
