Job Title: Manager - Finance and Administration Salary: Circa N200,000-N300,000 Job Description: Reports to the CEO Maintain the company’s books of account. Prepare financial statements of the company. Prepare Cashflow/projection Prepare and manage Budget Manage account receivable and payables Supervises necessary weekly and monthly Management Information Reports Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures and guidelines. Cost tracking and management Prepare Account for several project and report on each Liaise with the company’s auditors and regulatory authorities Provide leadership and supervision to other staff Provide administrative support and other jobs as assigned by the CEO. Requirements Competences in Strategic planning, Banking and Funds management, Book keeping, financial control, Human Resources & Office Administration 1. Qualifications: Conversant with any of Quickbooks or Sage 50 Peachtree accounting packages. Good appreciation of Microsoft office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc...) Minimum of 8 years' experience in Accounting practice or related roles from any industry. A degree PLUS ICAN Qualified ACA Strong Communication and Presentation Skills Conversant with relevant aspects of IFRS provisions Ability to handle handling tax matters Account Officer Salary: Circa N150,000 – N200,000 Reports to: Manager, Finance and Administration Principal Duties and Responsibilities Manage billings and invoicing Prepare weekly and Monthly revenue and expense reports Maintain petty cash and general ledger Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement Monitoring of the petty cash and bank balances Disbursement of cash advances and reconciliation to ensure recovery. Prepare payroll and benefits control of salary payments to staff, including tax liabilities. Reconciling and monitoring expenses, subsistence allowances, mobile phone usage, etc. Manage cheque run and record all cheques Support in preparation of regular reports and statements including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT: Salary: Circa N 80,000 – 120,000 Executive Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our company’s CEO Executive Assistant’s responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to CEO Responsibilities Act as the point of contact for the CEO amongst employees, clients and other external partners Manage information flow in a timely manner and manage executives’ calendars. Fleet Operations Officer Salary: Circa N150,000 – N200,000 JOB SUMMARY Provide strategic and operational leadership of the company’s fleet and drivers, Control and reduce operating costs, providing specialist knowledge relating to trucks management, Improve the operational performance of the fleet, whilst minimizing the operative downtime. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and maintain policies and processes to ensure the fleet operates effectively and efficiently. Management of our trackers, and tracker provider to monitor and improve driver management, sharing this information with the Management Team. Maintain records, proving that the fleet is compliant with regulations whilst demonstrating value for money and provide monthly vehicle maintenance cost report to the Line Manager. Facilitate timely daily, weekly, monthly truck technical inspection with the use of the truck checklist. Manage maintenance schedules to ensure that the optimum number of trucks are working at all times to meet the company’s customer needs. Budget management of fleet repairs on costs and administrative costs, including tracking trucks fuel usage, and consumption rates to identify ways to maximize fuel economy and manage fuel card usage. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues and perform preventive maintenance. Conduct random inspections of vehicles within the fleet. Take up ad-hoc assignments as may be directed by Management from time-to-time. QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE HND/B.Sc. in Transport & Logistics Management or other related fields Minimum of 4 years’ cognate experience in a Logistics or fleet management role Relevant professional certification in Transport management in Nigeria. E.g. National Institute of Transport & Logistics is an added advantage and experience in heavy truck management or and managing a large fleet of heavy duty trucks Experience of fleet telemetry/Truck tracking systems, and fleet maintenance systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Providing annual vehicle maintenance and fuel budgets and consulting with departments about fleet needs and priorities. Perform any other duties that may be assigned. Mechanical Operations Officer Salary: Circa N150,000 – N200,000 Job Description Must have good knowledge of trucks and their parts and must be able to manage mechanics and supervise them Set up maintenance schedules to ensure each truck is kept in top condition and monitor them. Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to assure cost effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturer’s specifications Check all repair work performed in workshop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to the fleet. Job Duties Carry out maintenance and repairs of machines to avoid breakdown Carry out maintenance/repairs of auxiliary equipment for the running of the machines Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidences of operating problems To carry out efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum qualification of B.SC or HND in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering and 4 years’ experience OR OND in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 7 years’ experience OR City & Guilds II Certificate or equivalent in Automobile Maintenance and Repairs with over 10 years’ experience in truck maintenance. Familiarity with use of modern diagnostic equipment is an added advantage. Tipper/Truck Mechanics Salary: Circa N80,000 – N120,000 Job Description Carry out maintenance and repairs of trucks to avoid breakdown Carry out maintenance/repairs of auxiliary equipment for the running of the machines Inspect trucks power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidences of operating problems To carry out efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of trucks, machines and equipment Job Requirements A minimum of an OND or Trade Test 1 in Mechanical Engineering with 3years relevant experience A City & Guilds II Certificate or equivalent in Automobile Maintenance and Repairs with over 5 years’ experience in truck maintenance. Ability to use OBD diagnostics tool is an added advantage Have ability to use mechanical tools and instruments Have analytical and organizing skills Be safety conscious and pay attention to details Truck/Tipper Drivers SALARY: Circa N100,000 – N120,000 (@ N5,000/day) Job Description Maintaining the Truck safe and clean Must drive carefully and decently on the road and obey all traffic signs Ensure that the attached truck is properly cleaned and maintained Ability to drive long-distance with focus Ensure all vehicle particulars such as insurance, license, etc; are in good condition. Monitor and ensure the documents are renewed before expiry date Ensure a fire extinguisher is present in the Truck Qualifications/Experience Minimum of WAEC/SSCE or its equivalent is needed. A City & Guilds Certificate/ Trade Test or equivalent certificates will be an added advantage Current Driving License is compulsory, Lagos State Driving Institute (LASDRI) certification is an added advantage. OND with necessary driving certification LASDRI with at least 2 years truck driving experience will be considered Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience, at least 2 of which must be on a dump truck/tipper Not more than 45 years of age. Prove of experience will be an added advantage. Key Performance Indicators: Keeping attached Truck clean always Must submit details reports per trip Will be held responsible if stopped by traffic wardens for failure to produce vehicle particulars or documents. Only allowed to stop at approved destinations when travelling outside Lagos.
