The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 476 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 50,964. Seven new deaths were recorded along with 265 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 476 new cases are reported from 18 states- Lagos (235), FCT (44), Kaduna (41), Borno (33), Plateau (28), Abia (13), Edo (13), Rivers (12), Imo (11), Oyo (10), Kano (9), Kwara (7), Enugu (5), Katsina (5), Gombe (4), Ogun (4), Nasarawa (1), Zamfara (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 476 cases were from 18 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 235. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 44 cases while Kaduna State had 41 Cases. 265 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 37,569 from 37,304. Seven new deaths were recorded.
