Panda (Launch date: February 24, 2011): This update is for checking quality content and avoid keyword stuffing and rewarding quality content. Penguin (Launch date: April 24, 2012): Google demoted spammy or irrelevant links and links with over-optimized anchor text in this google update. Hummingbird (August 22, 2013): As panda, it is also mainly focused on keyword stuffing and low-quality content to making SERPs better for users. Pigeon (July 24, 2014): In Pigeon Google is more about Onpage as well as Off-page SEO, and sites that haven't good at both of the departments get hart by this update. |
