On August 21, 2019, a year ago, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated his second-term Cabinet. Here’s a list of highlights of 34 policies, programs, and project successes and accomplishments since then.

The listed achievements span across the economy, governance, transportation, oil, and gas as well as human empowerment to mark his one year in office.

In a statement by the official presidency Twitter account @NGRPresident on Friday August 21, they shared some photos of President Buhari together with his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and Ministers.

They listed the Presidential assent to Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), the creation of new ministries, the increment of NYSC monthly allowance to N33,000, N-power intervention scheme, among others as part of his achievements.

1. The Budget Implementation Cycle was successfully restored to a January-to-December Calendar, with the signing of the 2020 Appropriation Bill in December 2019.
2. President Buhari signed into law a Finance Bill, to reform domestic tax laws, introduce tax incentives for investments in infrastructure and capital markets, and improve the business environment. It was the first time since the return of democracy in 1999 that a Federal Budget was accompanied by a passage of an enabling Finance Bill.
3. President Buhari approved a 10 billion Naira Intervention Fund for the upgrade of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu. That project is now very close to completion.

Without gain saying, buhari osinbajo administration have been unprecedented has regard improving our nation building. We can all see the improvement in rail, road, power, aviation, ease of doing business, MSMEs clinic throughout the federation, improved MSMEs, increase in revenue generation and closure of borders to boost revenue, etc. Though, there is need to improve and it is believed that other sector would be improved
