The Kaduna state government under the leadership of Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has arraigned the Bishop of Zaria Diocese, Abiodun Ogunyemi, of the Anglican Communion, in court for saying that he will never become the president of Nigeria. Ogunyemi had made the statement around November, 2019, over the demolition of churches in the crisis state. He had said that the governor should stop embarrassing himself on the demolition of churches in the state.
