Melt from the Greenland Ice Sheet is one of the largest contributors to sea level rise and presently contributes an increase of around 0.03 inches (0.76 mm) annually. In total, sea levels rose by around 0.14 inches (3.5 mm) each year from 2005 to 2017, researchers have calculated. 1 Like 1 Share

The loss represents more than 532 trillion litres of water according to a study published in Communications Earth & Environment equivalent to 212.8 million olympic-sized swimming pools over the course of 2019, or seven for every second of the year. Hmmmm... Climate change is real but then humans have a habit of being nonchalant till death comes knocking. Then,they scramble and fumble around to become heroes,after much suffering. Give them a few years!! They are already back to their old self destructive ways. |
