How To Know That The Authorities Are Lying Against IPOB To Make Them Look Bad by kingzizzy: 10:06am On Aug 24, 2020
In 2017, the federal government proscribed IPOB and declared it a terrorist group. The USA, the EU, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and the international community all denounced and disagreed with the labelling of IPOB as a terrorist group. This left the federal government looking rather foolish. Minister for information, Lai Mohammed,
travelled to London where he was interviewed by the BBC and reiterated that IPOB was a terrorist group. The person who interviewed him told him that there was no such thing as an unarmed terrorist group. Lai Mohammed then travelled to Washington D.C where he wrote an embarrassing article in the Washington Post Newspaper. He was trying tell America that IPOB is a terrorist group based on words and utterances of IPOB. He was rebuffed and IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has become a regular visitor to Washington, even standing a few meters from President Trump at Trump rallies.

Ever since, the authorities have tried to paint IPOB as an armed violent group so as to justify its proscription. Unfortunately for the authorities, their lies simply makes no sense, even to a child in primary school.

1) The authorities keep saying that IPOB are armed, but how come it is only the authorities that have seen IPOB armed? We have all seen Boko haram armed, we have all seen pictures of Niger Delta militants armed, we have all seen armed herdsmen with their AK47. Why is it that it is only the authorities that have seen armed IPOB? Is that the general public becomes blind when it comes to IPOB?

2) Why is is that every time IPOB is accused of violence, it is a clash with the authorities? Boko does not wait until they clash with the authorities before the unleash violence, killer herdsmen do not wait until they meet the authorities to unleash violence. Which terrorist organisation only waits until they clash with the authorities before they become violent? If anything, terror groups usually strike when the authorities are not there.

3)You will always see the bodies of the IPOB members killed but you will never see the bodies of those the authorities claim IPOB killed. I remember in 2018 when the Nigerian Police circulated pictures of a Police man they claimed IPOB killed and left for dead in a gutter, only for pictures of the same Policeman to surface online of him walking away. The authorities will claim that IPOB killed their members but you will not see any body and hardly will you get a name. And even if you get a name and body, the person will be quickly buried without autopsy to ascertain cause of death

4) The story the authorities weave around IPOB/security forces clash is usually fantastic. It usually starts off that the authorities were going about their lawful activities, usually on patrol, when IPOB will suddenly attacked them with no provocation. The Nigerian Army even claimed in 2017 that IPOB blocked the road and attacked them with sticks and stones(how anyone can believe that civilians with just sticks and stone would attack heavily armed Soldiers is beyond me). How would IPOB know where and when the authorities are on patrol? What could IPOB possibly gain by attacking the authorities? It would make far more sense for IPOB to go about killing people and destroying Federal government structures like other terror groups do. Why would they be going after those on patrol to exchange bullets when there are easy soft targets out there?

5) Yesterday's bloodbath in Emene Enugu was avoidable, and it is clear from the Police and DSS statements that both agencies are lying against IPOB. What they claim is that armed IPOB, numbering over 500, gathered at a school in Emene on a Sunday morning to learn martial arts. The DSS went there to disperse them and this led to an altercation that involved calling for reinforcements and a gun battle that left people dead on either side. This is big lie for anyone who knows Emene. The area is close to the outskirts of Enugu and is densely populated. If armed IPOB wanted to learn martial arts, there are several forest and bushes a few miles from Emene where they could have easily gone to for that away from the eyes of the public and the authorities and much better protection. But what the authorities want gullible people to believe is that IPOB took guns and arms to a school, in a densely populated area on a Sunday morning when everyone would be at home? How is that possible? Why would any armed organisation expose its self in such manner? It makes no sense

All of these are lies. Unsrmed peaceful IPOB was having a meeting in the school, the authorities arrived and opened fire in their usual callous way. We all know thats what happened
