FAB AFRICA Network Enables A Hand Washing Hygiene In Learning Environment

FAB AFRICA NETWORK under the umbrella of FABfoundation enables a hand washing hygiene in learning environment as school sets to resume.

With the continual easing of the lockdown induced by the Corona Virus Pandemic in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and across the federation. Coupled with the resumption of most social, commercial and other vital activities, it is very likely that schools will be resuming any moment from now.

As a safety precaution to help curb the spread of the Corona Virus in learning environment; which are set to resume soon, routine hand washing comes to mind after social distancing and wearing of face masks. Hand washing and water related hygienes, require a clean free flowing water facility as a basic need for keeping safe in this period of Covid-19; a facility that is lacking in most schools especially, in the rural community and quite a bit expensive to provide.

FAB AFRICA NETWORK<fab foundation>is taking the lead on providing an enabling hand washing and water related hygiene in learning environment within the Federal Capital Territory with the installation of boreholes at selected schools in rural areas. This was flagged off with the commissioning of a recently completed borehole installation project in Ajata Primary School, Kurudu on the 19th of August 2020.

The just completed water project by the foundation is targeted at also providing a hygienic source of water for the people of Kurudu Community. This was accompanied by the distribution of face masks and palliative to over 500 (five hundred) house hold in the community, to cushion the impact of the Covid-19 on their livelihood.

FAB Africa Network<fab foundation >is a Non-governmental organization with headquarters situated in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and aims at reaching out to the rural communities across Nigeria, to help reduce the inequalities in living standards and ease the burdens that come with being unable to access basic amenities in a developing country as Nigeria.

With the support of well meaning individual, they have been able to achieve this aim in various communities across the country in the hope of making an impact in the lives of families in these communities and still burns to eliminate poverty and suffering, which have become a way of life for people in rural Communities.
