chelsea 50m pounds for torress, ballotelli to Liverpool, barca breaking the bank for dembele, Chelsea getting drinkwater, madrid getting jovic, man u getting di maria, Sanchez, depay and even zaha dt was loaned and sold back to palace bcoz he flopped, barca and zlatan deal too, robinho to city, shevchenko to Chelsea, veron to man u, kaka to madrid, andy carrol to Liverpool...
but the craziest for me is dt of woodgate, the Newcastle defender dt Madrid signed for 13.5m back in 2004, he was an injury proned player bt madrid took d gamble n even bought him injured, he spent almost a year on the sideline and when he finally made his debut, he scored an own goal and also received a red card....village people tinz..

Don't you ever call Torres a mistake even if he wasn't prolific for Chelsea at least go back to the 2012 UCL semi final and listen to the commentator
"50 million pounds has just been repaid"
If it wasn't for Torres there won't be any 2012 final for Chelsea

I wouldn't call Torres' transfer to Chelsea a mistake but even if he didn't score that goal against Barca, they would have still made it to the final that year due to the away goal rule.

even if Torres didn't score Chelsea would have qualified, via away goal

going by what he did in Liverpool, going by the fee Chelsea paid bcoz by then it was a British record, that goal meant nothing bcoz they would av qualified without his goal..
he letter admitted when he left Chelsea dt he failed in London..
