Wikipedia = free encyclopedia

Both have the same editorial principles and uses the same web software but different funding and empowerment strategies, and so on. For example both required that an encyclopedia article must be Notable. But while Wikipedia editors mostly includes globally notable topics, Wikiafripedia editors also consider Regionally Notable topics like Hushpuppi, whereas Wikipedia has deleted his article.

Wikiafripedia is operated by the Wikiafrimedia Foundations whereas, Wikipedia is hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation. Both are hosted in the US, both originated from different continents.

However, Wikiafripedia is currently the only encyclopedia that doesn't send out donations newsletters and doesn't run ads on their own. Ads are run by individual authors of articles and they reap 100% of the revenue thereof because everyone is using their personal ad-account and they are responsible for hustling traffic to their article, although Wikiafripedia promote the site globally occasionally. That means you are free to use your personal advertising network account, and the Wikiafripedia cannot tell how much you are making from your contents.

But Wikipedia doesn't allow this kind of empowerment. All you do they is free plus they send you donation newsletter yearly.

If you like write 100 articles on Wikipedia, you wouldn't get a dime from it nor be give a piece of the (sometimes excess) donations they get yearly. But if those your contributions were on the afripedia, you would be able to generate revenue from their traffic by placing ads on them; assuming each page get 10hits a day, that's 1,000hits for 100pages and you might generate $50 monthly.

If you could create/drive traffic to your contents, that's fine.

However, it is difficult because Articles on Wikiafripedia Must be as qualitative as you find on Britannica or Wikipedia. That's a downside to this story.
