Assa community is one of the major oil and gas bearing communities in Ohaji-Egbema LGA, Imo State, but in this community you can see abandoned projects by NDDC, from Electrification to Town Hall, all abandoned.

Nigerian Senate and House of Representative Committee on Niger Delta Affairs can tour Ohaji communities to see things for themselves, right from Obitti, Awarra, Assa to Obile communities there's no presence of governance, no basic amenities.

These communities have not seen the presence of Electricity since the creation of Earth and they are among major oil bearing communities that made Imo State to be part of NDDC. This is injustice and it's unfair the way my people are being treated.

Thank you.
