The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 160 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 53,477. No new death was recorded along with 291 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 160 new cases are reported from 15 states- Plateau (44), Lagos (27), Katsina (18), Edo (15), FCT (14), Ondo (10), Oyo (9), Kwara (6), Abia (4), Nasarawa (4), Kano (3), Ekiti (2), Kaduna (2), Kebbi (1), Ogun (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 160 cases were from 15 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 44. Lagos State followed with 27 cases while Katsina State had 18 Cases. 291 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 41,017 from 40,726. No new death was recorded. Find the breakdown below.
