Stop using countries like Sudan, Afghanistan and Nigeria when doing comparisons. It might interest you to know those countries( except naija) have being long in existence b4 the mighty US of A became a country

You are bringing up rich countries that practise sharia forgetting that they all have something in common which is a small population and massive oil wealth.

Republic of Afghanistan - established 17 July 1973

Sudan - established 1 January 1956

Don't bullshit me please.

I don't know why you are bringing America into this, better stay on topic.

These are not mere coincidences:

1) Western Intelligence Agencies say Islamic extremists from afar are encircling south of Nigeria.

2) Northern Moslem Lawyers disengage from Nigeria Bar Association.

3) Kano state government set to execute someone for blasphemy.

Just imagine that. Yet his fanboys on Nairaland would have us think he's the best thing since sliced bread when he's just an empty suit. Smh.

Mr Alabi

I'm sure you must have been waiting patiently for this opportunity to pour out your inconsequential venom on Peter Obi.

Hope you enjoyed yourself though?

He's not your president, neither is he in governance so he owes you NOTHING.

Is it the same Peter Obi that is yet to comment on the Igbos vs. Dss clash that recently took place in Enugu that you are expecting to talk about this? Una go wait tire. Both Peter and Atiku are hypocrites.
we are also tired of waiting for tinubu to speak on amotekun.
my point is politicians are all hypocrites as long as they have their eyes on the national treasury.

People should just stop being hypocrites. Why are they expecting the presidential aspirants to talk as if it’s what Nigerians are expecting in their manifesto. Why not drag the man in power to talk ? Buhari just released the wedding invite of his daughter, non of those dragging these people talked to the presidents office about the man. But the people are out there wanting people not in power to influence what the power would do without stress. So after loosing elections, he must not enjoy life or express himself? He should continually look dejected so as to ganner your mercy?
They definitely do not understand what it takes to being an opposition to the government. You probably think it's all about sweet talking your way to Aso rock during electioneering. Atiku/obi na scam.

Wetin concern Peter Obi who is Catholic from Anambra State with Islam matter? How many times have you seen Peter Obi in Kano state?

Is Tinubu not a practicing Muslim and APC leader who also campaigned for Gandunje?

Tinubu open your brown tooth and talk before dollar will chook you for throat cheesy

by the way, tinubu and the vice president are in better position to save the young man's live.

There's no influential Muslim living, especially from the North that will speak against this.

As much as we feel this is an extreme use and abuse of power, the young man involved should also have respected people's beliefs.
If you don't believe in Mohammed, why not look the other way and respect other people?

He is most likely going to be killed, and nothing would happen, because this is Nigeria

I feel for him sha

Now that he didn't respect other people's religion, the next thing is that he should be slaughtered to appease the vindictive prophet, his deity or his followers? What exactly are you trying to paint out?

Tinubu was sitting on the fence ke ?
Do you know that Akeredolu came out to appreciate Tinubu for intervening. Tinubu weighed in on either side, the governors have the right to secure the lives & properties of their people, on other hand, the AGF has the right to insist that the security outfit was legally established. Tinubu was the rallying point that ensures both parties would later meet in Abuja to fine-tune the grey areas & passed into law in their respective states. atiku/obi should not only wait until election, they should speak out now as opposition leaders. opposition is no tea party.

I disagree, I think we need atiku to categorically state his stance. He has always potrayed himself as a liberal and detribalized individual. As for buhari we already know his stance, same as members of his cabal.

topcatking:
Can people stop being st.pid for a moment?

Is atiku your président ? Vice président ? Senate président ? Does he hold any leadership position? Same as OBI?

Why not question the LEADERS...your president, vice president, senate president and minister of justice who HAVE THE POWER TO FORCE A CHANGE.

HAS ANY OF THEM SPOKEN ABOUT the sentencing yet?

Nigerians need to stop being unfortunate and actually THINK, before calling people out.

You have said the truth especially that truth which the avg Southern xtian or brainwashed muslims don't know.
To us our prophet is more than our papa and mama. One can't insult him and expect us to clap for him in the name of freedom.

No northern politician born of a woman can go against our beloved prophet and expect us to forget for the next 1billion years. We can forget and even forgive anything one does to us, but not a thing done to our Lord, Allah, our book, the Quran or our Beloved Prophet (saw)

Nigeria stop carrying out death sentence since 2000s. Those condemned to death remain in the prison while appealing their case for a better sentence. I guess same thing will happen to this man.
Ganduje has no moral right to even sign that thing
Nigeria stopped carrying out death sentence not because it has been abolished from our penalty code but because most governors are reluctant to sign death warrants.
In this case I guess the guy will be put to death if the governor signs the death warrant like he has threatened to.

your selective analysis funny, osibanjo is a lawyer and vice president, what is preventing osibanjo from stepping into the matter and saving this young man.
any way,he didnt even speak up when the daughter of the elderly odua leader was killed,i dont expect him to speak.

It's not about the governors being reluctant. Are you a warder? Nigeria stopped carrying out death sentence because they became a part of US human rights or something.

They are only interested in election for selfish gains. Anyone who is not actively involved on national issues should not be taken seriously when election time comes. You will not also hear the voice of Donald Duke. But when it's time for election, you will see their campaign bill boards. Selfish leaders.
