Direct it to your president.

We should stop running after the wrong people.

Your president/vice, governors/Minister of Justice are all on oath to defend the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

A young man is about to face the gallows under apparent betrayal of our constitution, and you are here running after unelected officials that did not swear any oath.

We are truly blind and lost in this country
For your mind you don make sense,
The guy was only asking for their opinion and not for them to do anything,
How can they possibly do anything when not in power, this PDP guys are a shame and embarrassment to opposition.
Apc in 4yrs played opposition so well it earned them a ticket to the chocolate factory.

How you people think and talk amazes me. What do you want Apostle Suleiman says? You guys don't know how volatile this issue is.

The issue on ground is like a bomb that if carelessly handled, the consequences will be huge.

If the guy was a Christian it would have been a different case. The Christian body will definitely speak up and resist it with everything.

You can't fight all battles. Know and pick your battles

What do you want a pastor to say about Islamic blasphemy case? Do you want to start a religious war? Do you want churches burnt down too?

One religion thinks entirely differently from the other and the accused can only be freed by those that share same religious beliefs as him, unfortunately even the lawyers that share same religion are scared of touching his case so no one burns down their chambers like they burned down the accused family house and nobody is being prosecuted for the arson.

Religion has full control over even many elites' thinking and common sense. Why is the president,, IG and CJN silent about it if they dont share similar religious beliefs as those that sentenced him to death? And you expect a pastor to act first just? "This is Nigeria.", same sect banned that song.

If they are unelected officials, why are they on the front page of nairaland?
Why are 2.5 million nairalanders supposed to be interested in what they say about the football teams of our colonial masters who destroyed (& continue to destroy) our country and continent?
Now guess who is truly blind & lost

@bold,

"If a hyena claims to have a cure for diarrhoea, then she should use it on herself" thus says a Nigerian proverb.

I want to believe your above submission is not what the lead post by the other commentator meant. However, if it does, then I am compelled to ask; what is the benefit of seeking for an opinion that you know will not amount to anything?
What is the sense in calling out those that does not have the means to save the young man that is doomed to die in the hands of proven criminals?
Is it not more sensible that the energy used in seeking for irrelevant opinions (in your own words) be directed to those that can use state apparatus to save the wrongly condemned man?

The more time used in seeking for irrelevant opinion just for the sake of political correction edge the young man closer to his grave.
As a sensible man that you claim to be, don't you think that in itself is a senseless thing to do?

Your comment betrayed you as another blind party faithful that is holding up a finger to know where the breeze is blowing from.
Life and death is not a party issue. It is humanity that is being questioned here....

For the sake of emphasis, let me reiterate again. Direct the attention and energy to those that swore to defend the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Seeking mere opinion from irrelevant individuals will not save the condemned, and moreso, he does not have the luxury of time

Do you really need someone to tell or teach you that they are unelected officials? Really??

Why they are on front page? You should direct that question to the owner of this forum and his moderators...or better still ask the 2.5 million people why they are interested in the football teams they speak of.

You're just revving the engine of a vehicle that has no wheels.

Direct your anger, if you have any, to those that swore to protect us with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to save the condemned, because the young man does not have the luxury of time.

Which office is Apostle Suleiman holding? Or Atiku?

I urge you strongly to ponder on your last sentence because you seem to be looking for direction with your comment
