It can seen a prevention to many diseases and disorders that can happen to us because of our lifestyles. Sedentary lifestyle is the biggest curse technology has given us. Practices of Yog train the body and mind to achieve higher energies.

As common misconceptions, it is not only for those who want to become sage and monk and it is surely not just a set of physical postures. Yog is much more than physical exercises. Physical postures are only preparatory steps to go for the higher practices such as Pranayam and Dhyaan(Meditation).
