The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 138 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 53,865. Two new deaths were recorded along with 199 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 138 new cases are reported from 14 states- Plateau (55), Lagos (15), Ebonyi (11), Oyo (11), Abia (  , Anambra (7), FCT (7), Rivers (7), Kaduna (6), Ondo (5), Kwara (3), Bauchi (1), Benue (1), Edo (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 138 cases were from 14 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 55. Lagos State followed with 15 cases while Ebonyi State had 11 cases. 199 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 41,513 from 41,314. Two new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
