Northerners are changing the narrative so as to have an excuse to hold on to power and our educated southerners cannot read in between the lines. Smh!

History has shown that southern Presidents take care of the north more than their own. Buhari has done well though. OUK 2023.

let them hold on to power. Na una go tire. You have to choose one of these three, either vote for Igbo presidency or let the north continue in 2023, another option is to divide the country.
It's simple.

These people sef, they always look at everything with politics, they must include politics in everything, imagine that Sarki guy is annoyed that the President is addressing problems in the south, this is the average mindset of these people. Even just seeing a person from another region moving or making progress in their career pains and disgust them so so much.

I will continue to repeat it, Our leaders have plenty plenty plenty work to do regarding this ugly thing called ethnoreligious intolerance and hatred, if this entity called Nigeria is to continue.

My post is not about Yorubas but the south. What exactly is Buhari doing in the south that he’s not doing in the north? I have been auditing Federal ministry of works for some years now and I know for a fact that federal roads in the north get far more allocation than southern roads.

If we talk about rail, the only functioning modern railway route in Nigeria today is the Abuja - Kaduna line. The Lagos-Ibadan railway though over 90% completed is not yet operational. The government is already concluding funding arrangement for Ibadan-Kano line and Lagos-Calabar coastal line. Both project will kick off around the same time.

So, how’s Buhari favouring the south? We may not like each other that much in the south but when narratives like this are pushed forward, we should come together and push it back. We must stop cutting off the nose to spite our face.

Hope this is not the famed Sarrki "patriot" of this forum talking here? After seeing how catastrophic the present leader is, yet forced him again on this nation. Then start complaining again.

They played Awo in 1979, MKO Abiola in 1993(even bubu was part of the hated Abacha junta that make life difficult for this nation) & now they're up @ it again. This is why education or being sophisticated have no bearing in politics.

The crooked Orji Uzor Kalu seems to be the stooge the northern power clique is grooming up to install again on this nation because we refused to call evil politics what it's as it's feathering our nest.

I don’t know which is worse, the fact that you think buhari has done well or the fact that you think OUK, a man that so mismanaged the finances of his state and was sentenced for fraud is good enough to manage Nigeria.

If you support a Peter Obi candidature, will the heavens fall? Except Ure a card carrying member of the APC, I don’t see anything wrong in thinking outside party lines to rebuild our very battered and heavily indebted economy.

The southerners who helped them into power in 2007 and 2015 should deal with it.
Maybe they will learn, although I doubt that seriously.

My question to all smart Yorubas has been this: if after knowing the capacity of Obafemi Awolowo and his pedigree as one of the founding fathers of Nigeria and their military intelligentsia during the genocidal Biafran war, why didn't the majority of the people of Nigeria vote him into power during the numerous times he contested? If you can answer this question in sincerity, you'll understand that Nigeria is not a country. This is the only contraption that non of her founding fathers ever ruled. They lived seeing young boys who knew nothing about the struggle rule. You can imagine their feelings.

Nobody played Awo in 1979. Awo never really solicited for northern vote in that election. He wanted a united southern front to defeat the northern oligarchs. He went as far as nominating an Igbo man as his running mate in an all southern presidential ticket. Sadly, he was betrayed by his southern brothers who preferred to vote for Shagari ahead of the all southern ticket. So, how did they play someone who never sought their support?

For MKO, the north have fully atoned for their sins against him and we’ve moved on.

My previous posts on this thread are very clear, we can continue the senseless bickering in the south or wake up and read in between the lines. Anybody telling you that northerners are tired of Buhari is only playing on your intelligence. They are not tired of Buhari, some of them simply want a continuation of northern rule. It is left for us in the south to be wise and read in between the lines.

Politics is ethno-region-religious inclined in our political histroy. How has it helped this nation? The north rarely condemn their own irrespective of the ills of the govt on seat.

However, the south condemn their own & even join forces with the north in most cases even when the groundwork for development is being laid.So the north sees itself as the political determinant of this nation.

This is what we're all saying. This nation is a contraption that need to disintegrate to see if we will make progress because the one Nigeria entity have no room for merit or competence.

Okoo since we are talking about atonement of sins, don't worry, in 2023, the north will play south west and then.later atone for their sins.

See atonement for politics.

Now everybody is trying to build its own political bridge.
