The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 143 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 54,008. No new death was recorded along with 125 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 143 new cases are reported from 18 states- Plateau (35), Kaduna (21), Lagos (19), FCT (13), Ebonyi (9), Adamawa (7), Enugu (7), Katsina (7), Edo (6), Kwara (5), Osun (3), Anambra (2), Kano (2), Niger (2), Ogun (2), Benue (1), Borno (1), Sokoto (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 143 cases were from 18 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 35. Kaduna State followed with 21 cases while Lagos State had 19 cases. 125 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 41,638 from 41,513. No new death was recorded. Find the breakdown below.
