The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 239 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 54,247. 10 new deaths were recorded along with 372 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 239 new cases are reported from 15 states- Plateau (116), FCT (33), Lagos (19), Ekiti (12), Kaduna (11), Ogun (11), Ebonyi (  , Benue (7), Abia (5), Delta (5), Ondo (4), Edo (3), Imo (2), Osun (2), Bauchi (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 239 cases were from 15 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 116. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 33 cases while Lagos State had 19 cases. 372people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 42,010 from 41,638. 10 new deaths were recorded.
