Which was?
I'm sure you realize Kogi state is not a core Northern state?
There's nothing good about the North.
Which one is core Northern state again? When it suits your motive you don't differentiate between the 3 Northern regions but when it doesn't you come up with core north and other innuendos.
Having read your conversation with Eazymoh I have sheath my sword and my advice to we the citizens is to shun this superiority competition that is at variance with facts on ground.

As I said in my replies to Eazymoh, what is seen is what we make impressions from - that's human nature. I am looking forward to seeing threads that show us the other sides different from what we assume we know.

The thing is we Northerners are very conservative save for a few and that's why we hardly post about our achievements because we look at it as nothing compared to what lies ahead.

I know and I agree about the conservative nature, but if you don't post those achievements people wouldn't know.

Thoughts, impressions and opinions are all shaped by what we read and hear. If the only things we keep hearing are the negative things, people will assume those are the only things that go on there. I really do think you guys on Nairaland need to come together and do more in sharing those achievements. It may be nothing to you guys but for others it will provide insight to a different North than what the papers and media show.

For example, I have heard about Kano being a big trading hub in the North as well as gold being cheaper there but I have never seen the pictures of the markets online. Even random things like the design patterns used on brides, I think it's called henna, saw it once in dubai and I've heard it's done in the North but not seen anything about it.
