You guys are putting too much into it. It is normal to get rejected. That does not mean you should hate the person or wish the person bad. Laycon cut off from her and not bothered with whatever happens.

Not because he did not date her does not mean he should not wish her well. He believes she will be a great star. Clean her past and have a better future.

He is not warming to her but having fun while wishing her well.

If that is not an alpha quality, what is?

Laycon is showing massive qualities there. Caring, being vulnerable and just being himself. He is also showing strength in the time of trials and disappointment.

Acting mean and insensitive is not alpha. Confidence, strength and care is the true alpha quality.

Laycon loves her wholeheartedly and it is dangerous for his health. I hope he wins the show and he will understand when he gets out there. The Lady will come back to him because she loves him too just pretending because of Waya who wont give her a Kobo(Erica is 'sapio/fino-sexual' permit me to use that word.
