NCDC Records 162 New Cases, 3 Deaths, 106 Recoveries by Newsbreakers: 8:50am On Sep 06, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 162 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 54,905. Three new deaths were recorded along with 106 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 162 new cases are reported from 15 states - Lagos (53), Gombe (21), Oyo (19), Delta (12), Ondo (11), Plateau (10), Ebonyi (9), FCT (6), Kwara (6), Kaduna (5), Rivers (3), Ogun (2), Anambra (2), Imo (2), Ekiti (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 16 cases were from 15 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 53. Gombe State followed with 21 cases while Oyo State had 19 cases. 106 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 42,922 from 42,816. Three new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
